CLAUDIA RESTREPO

Claudia Restrepo is a Los Angeles-based writer, director and actor with an affinity for genre-bending dramedies and guilty pleasures.

Recent writing credits include THE BOOK OF QUEER (Discovery+) for which she received a Daytime Emmy nomination, and the animated comedy YOUR DAILY HOROSCOPE. Claudia has written television for Fox, Netflix, Max and various digital platforms. She has participated in the National Hispanic Media Coalition Scriptwriters Program and the 2023 Sony Pictures TV Writers Program. Film credits include producing the feature comedy THE END OF US (Narrative Competition SXSW ’21) and she recently executive produced and starred in the romantic-comedy PEAK SEASON (SXSW ‘23 Official Feature Selection).

Her most recent short film, KILL ME DADDY, is a dark comedy-thriller which premiered at the 2022 Palm Springs International Short Fest. Claudia is also a former Buzz Feed Video producer, where she wrote and directed dozens of videos for the Latine vertical platform, Pero Like. Claudia has directed and appeared in videos for brands including Verizon, Facebook Watch, Citibank, American Airlines, AT&T and more. One of her favorite projects to date is LESBIAN PRINCESS, a series she co-wrote and directed, which has amassed millions of views and combines her love of historical fiction with LGBTQ themes.
